Where should I go? Graduate Dec 13th :shock: and have off work until after Christmas..
I am going with my older brother, he doesnt surf so im looking for a place to stay with a good nightlife near by.

Joco beach is the original down and dirty nite life area of costa, while tamarindo further up north is a bit more upscale---both areas had good surf with the greater variety going to the tamerindo area. you will surf with some crowds , and rip-offs can be an issue..the cost will be higher in the tamarindo area,i think. hey, just go and have fun....
